Outside the pub is a delivery lorry marked - H. Kenway

Another picture very close to home for me
Grange Road looking towards the Coventry Road
Eversley Road is on the right
Butlers Automotive Manufacturing Factory is on the left
The photographer stood around the top of Baker Street near the Nelson Pub
On the corner of Eversley Road it looks like the end house has been bombed?
The opposite corner I remember as derelect land [also bombed?]. |

This small block of shops stood opposite Talfourd Street
and the Gunmakers Arms Public House
Bertram Road can be seen on the right
To the extreme right, the large wooden gate
was Tranters Coal-Yard
