Could it have been on Bordesley Green Jackie , the bottom end of Charles Road meets Bordesley Green and so does Little Green Lane . There was a sweet shop between Palace Road and Whiteall Road not sure if it was a tobaconist though , early 50s

Ther was also a Leslie Hands and a Maud Hands nee Crockett at 500 Green Lane , don't know if it was a shop or if they were related .500 is opposite Mansel Road and is a shop today not sure about the 60s
