HI STAN.
I'm answering your queries here as the shout box is limited to those who are few of words,
The Church at the top of Prince Albert Street [picture attached], was a couple of doors away from the sweet shop owned by the same people that owned Direct Coaches in Prince Albert Street, Mr & Mrs Bourne.
The Co-op shop, opposite side of Bordesley Green Post Office was at number 76-80 [picture attached]
The Court Steam Laundry was at numbers 92 - 96, [Picture attached]. My brother John was a van driver with them.
Court Steam Laundry block [picture attached].
Mr Barnes was the Head-Teacher when I was at LGL, nice bloke from what I remember, have a number of pictures
of the school which I will dig out and send you.
The only lodger I remember was a Hungarian named Steve or Joe, and He lived next door [No 29]to the Harrisons [No 31]
Last but one question, were you the son of Harry & Charlotte Hall?
I have a stitched aerial picture of every single house in Little Green Lane from Wimbush to Ellis the Shoe repair shop, so yours will be on there. It's far too big to post but if you are at Morrisons next week shopping, I could meet you there or the Cricketers Pub and bring a number of Little Green Lane pictures for you to look at.
Let me know if you can make it.
