Interesting. The car has a Nottingham reg and that lamp-post doesn't look like one of ours............ On the other hand, the house architecture and pavement/gutter style look like Brum's.

Taken on a Sunday by the look of it. Those kids look far too clean and well dressed for a weekday. Planet Malc/ Vince I'm guessing the kids are dressed up because it was a "posed" shot. The chances of someone with a camera just happening along in 1949 were pretty slim, unlike today when everyone over the age of six months never leaves the house without his billion pixel phone camera. As for the location I can only go with the caption on the photo. Jerry
