My Mom grew up at 78 Hobmoor Road, Small Heath, which was bombed in 1940. She worked as a clerk, maybe at BSA Tools before 1939. I've been looking for pictures of what her street looked like when she was growing up (1913-39). 'Peaky Blinders' makes it all look like a slum, which I'm sure wasn't the case because I've seen photos of her back garden. Does anyone have pics of the street during that period showing number 78, please?

As far as I am aware number 78 is still standing, if you follow this link you will see the house. It's the one with the taxi on the drive. I have a photo of the general location around the time you require but I am unable to post photos to the site at the moment
