It would have been a bit of a gut wrencher if the own goal had been the sixth goal.
Presumably Leicester's Denis Rofe would have got the TR7!!
Or much more likely, the rules would have been changed so that the scorer of the fifth goal would have been rewarded!

Hi annels,
Well I'm gobsmacked.
Was your brother a big Blues fan, what was his thinking behind the generous offer of the car?
Your comments just confirms to me that you can't always believe what you read in the media.
Ray.

Whole family huge blues fans, still are. I was taken as a child to St Andrews and loved it,although Trevor Hockey played his part in my support. My sons in turn became and still are blue noses.I have a eight year old Grandaughter who is football mad she plays for two teams a local boys team and Atherstone girls team, she is very good, maybe she will play for Birmingham one daday
Paul gave the car I think for publicity for a sports shop he owned on Hobmoor Rd,not sure anyone believed they would score six

Forgot to say I don't think Kenny Burns got to keep the car, think the team were given the money to split ,payed for I think from an insurance policy if my memory serves me right.
