Having watched the game I'm still a bit shell shocked. I always try to be positive about these things but what can I say? One goal down in the first few minutes. One man down in the next few minutes. Three goals down at half time. A penalty missed that might have got us back in the game. The only positive thing I could see was that the boys never stopped trying right up to the end, they were just not up to it! I can't see a new manager making a great difference but that's the only straw we've got to clutch at right now. I think things are gonna get a lot worse before they get better. Jerry

The sad thing is that if you look at the major cities in Europe with populations over 1 million, there aren't many that don't have at least one decent team.
It's been many years since you can say that you are proud to be a Brummie when football is discussed. It's never been so embarrassing to admit which team you support.
What happened to Brum & where are the wealthy people who are prepared to invest in the likes of Brighton, QPR etc?
It's gonna take a long time to put together a half decent team, even if the money was available immediately. But unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be anything in the pipeline. I really hope that I'm wrong, but I can't see any positives in sight for the forseeable future

You must have been watching another game Jerry!!
I heard that Blues had Bournmouth pinned down for most of the game & that the visitors had eight lucky breakaways and scored each time!!
LOL

It was a fascinating game. I couldn't take my eyes off it at the finish, I didn't dare to because every time I looked away thy scored another goal! It was very educational as well. It certainly taught me a lesson Jerry
