I am searching for any information regarding the above families that were living in the Birmingham area in the late 1800's and well into the 1900's. There were quite a few of my family members that were engravers in that area.
In particular, I am searching for information pertaining to my gr grandmother, Elizabeth Cutler, who would have come to Canada around 1899 early 1900 as my grandmother was born in Canada in April of 1900. My gr grandmother was not married and was approximately 41/42 years of age so it was no wonder she left England.
The 1891 census is the last time I can find her in England. She was working as a barmaid/domestic servant at The Avenue located at 49 Aston Road North. I am guessing that she got involved perhaps with one of the patrons and thus became pregnant ... what else can I assume huh?
Any info would be greatly appreciated, even if it is just to give me some information about the area during that period in time.
Thank you in advance

Hi don't know if it helps but you could try "Ancestry" under "All Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865-1935" Here's part of the lists, but you'll have to join "Ancestry" to access the details Regards Pete

Thanks Pete but I have already tried to find her on the passenger lists. I was more interested in obtaining information about her, and where she worked at The Avenue, into the late 1800's and the surrounding area.
Thanks - Judy
