Does anyone remember making latch hook rugs using hessian sack cloth and cut up clothing, usually old coats? I believe that the rugs were called "plugged rugs" or "canal mats". We spent hours making these things. No carpets nor laminate flooring in those more frugal days!
I've tried to upload a photo of the latch hook but this doesn't appear to be possible at the moment
Regards
Pete
