hi pete I have four different programs that I use and what I have to do is use one program then make a copy of the photo then use a different program to do different things if you get my drift but most of the time I use photo lab but I have a graphics tablet that comes with its own software but I also use paint shop pro
you may also note that I'm not in to modern stuff the love of my life is taking old black and white photos and bringing a bit of colour in to them I call it giving them life you may note that most pre war photos done in black and white had colour added to them by hand it would take days to add colour so I try to do it the same way to make it look like its been hand painted the other thing I like to do is what I call trick photos I like to make ghost photos there is a few of mine knocking about the web but sadly pete my eyes are fast growing dim and my hands are not steady any more so I make mistakes that I can not see if you look on the left and see my profile photo that was a black and white photo that I added a bit of colour to roy

thank you for you kind words ill will do more when I find the right photos now what I'm going to do is take the photo of the horse and cart and put a ghost in the photo
